In 1976, the decision was made to convert the "Jungle Room" a room in Elvis' Graceland estate, into a recording studio. Presley would sporadically record in the "Jungle Room", and Down in the Jungle Room recontextualizes those recordings over two discs. Tracks include a far-ranging mix of country and pop covers, such as "Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain," "I'll Never Fall in Love Again," "Danny Boy," "Solitaire", and other late-period classics. (Sony)
