When he decided to record Wagner's Der Fliegende Hollender, a cornerstone in the musical life of the composer, Marc Minkowski decided to include Dietsch's work on the project, which also got the support of the Palazetto Bru Zane - Centre de Musique Romantique Francaise, a foundation whose vocation is to encourage the rediscovery of the French musical heritage of the years between 1780 and 1920, and gain that repertory the international recognition it deserves.
