I enjoyed greatly some highly attractive and charming music, sensitive playing, and clean, fresh-sounding recordings... The Lute concerto in particular has good things... Of the Mandolin concertos, this double is most interesting, done with charm, with one mandolin each to the left and to the right, and is quite delightful. Much of the music is in Vivaldi's best sombre G minor tone. (Gramophone)
