After two previous volumes devoted to historic recordings by the Red Army Choir, this new set continues to explore the annals of Russian popular, military and traditional music. Once again, the listener is captured by the vocal power of the Choir’s 120 singers, whose patriotic songs – the emblems of eternal Russia – carry us to the shores of the Volga and sing the praises of brave Cossack horsemen.
