This new release of early Irish music follows the success of Francois Lazarevitch’s earlier release, For ever Fortune, early music from Scotland. The repertoire here consists of old airs, dances, songs in Gaelic, and instrumental works from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. Lazarevitch performs here with Les Musiciens de Saint-Julien, as well as with American tenor Robert Getchell.
