Russian pianist Tatyana Nikolayeva was the greatest Bach performer of her generation, as well as an undisputed authority on the piano music of Dmitri Shostakovich. This recital was made in an open-air venue, and displays Nikolayeva’s impeccable technique and her interpretive sensitivity.
