After finishing her education and spending some years freelancing world, singer and composer Anna Lundqvist wanted to work exclusively with her own music and concept.She started ALQ as a quartet to fulfill this artistic quest.After the recording of their first album, pianist Fabian Kallerdahl replaced Daniel Fredar. At the same time saxophone player Björn Almgren joined in and ALQ went from a quartet to quintet.Since then they have released two further albums.TEN, ALQ's fourth and latest release, is a collection of 2014 live recordings celebrating their ten years together.
