But when played by the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra under it's Music Director, Tchaikovsky does more than touch his listeners: they are drawn deep into the music, as if living through the music themselves. This recording includes the Symphony No. 5 and the "Hamlet" Overture, recorded in late 2008 in Birmingham's Symphony Hall.
