SYMPHONY NO. 5

This is the fourth album in Marcus Bosch and the Staatsphilharmonie Nürnberg's acclaimed projected complete series of Dvořák's symphonies. The Symphony No. 5 was composed in a mere six weeks in the summer of 1875 but was not performed until 1879. It is considered to be pastoral in nature and not dissimilar from his 6th symphony which he wrote five years later.
