Tony Murena has a choice seat in the accordionists’ Hall of Fame. Together with Gus Viseur and Jo Privat he “renovated” the musette style: his feeling for jazz and his associations with the great gypsy guitarists (Django Reinhardt, the Ferret brothers…) made Tony Murena one of the greatest “swing musette” stars.
