“Soundscapes of Rain” brings together six important natural concerts, of rain; recorded in very different parts of the world – France, Italy, Kenya, Martinique, Canada. The chosen landscapes are representative of different types of altitude and habitats: mountains, forests, savannas, seashore, lakes, as well as an underwater recording revealing an atmosphere that’s rather different! Bernard Fort, not only a well known wildlife sound recorder, but also responsible for the GMVL at Lyon, tries to answer what appears to be a simple yet mysterious question: who knows the sound of rain?
