Sognando lo spazio

Focusing on the “tale,” the songs chosen for this program focus on myths, fairytales, and even science fiction. Compositions for flute and piano by Debussy, Reinecke, and Jolivet are joined by others to make up this mystical listening journey. Flutist Elena Cecconi is currently Professor of Flute at the Conservatory of Geneva. She performs on a Haynes 14K gold flute which was once owned by the famous flutist Severino Gazzelloni. Pianist Tim Carey accompanies Cecconi for this recording.
