This Fleur de Son recording features two of the 19th century's greatest piano works that share the title Fantasy and the key of C Major. By transforming inherited Classical structures and infusing the works with great emotional and imaginative force, composers Franz Schubert and Robert Schumann took the "fantasia" for piano solo to previously unprecedented heights.
