This 26-track compilation CD features a wide variety of modern and traditional vocal and instrumental Russian music - Orthodox choral (Vecherni Tvoeya, Slava Otsu), balalaika instrumentals (Yablochki), fiery Gypsy and Cossack songs (Tabor, Turka), a cappella choirs (About Life) - performed by various authentic Russian ensembles and individuals, including the Red Army Choir, Balalaika, Oleg Ponomarev and Valentina Ponomareva.
