Leroy Anderson is one of the most celebrated twentieth century composers of light concert music. His pieces were frequently premiered by the Boston Pops Orchestra, and fellow composer John Williams described him as “one of the great American masters of light orchestral music.” This 18-track release, performed by Jack Stamp and his Keystone Wind Ensemble features Anderson’s most popular works, including “Bugler’s Holiday,” “The Phantom Regiment,” “Sandpaper Ballet,” and of course his holiday classics, “A Christmas Festival,” and “Sleigh Ride.”
