"Pastime with Good Company" is a recording that celebrates the 5th Anniversary of the Alpha Productions label. Every artist on the roster (including such notables as Gustav Leonhardt, Cafe Zimmerman and L'Arpeggiata) recorded a piece of their own choice for this production. It is a wonderful sampler of the artists and repertoire featured on the label, and because all of the tracks were specially recorded for this disc, none of the music is duplicated on other releases. It was released in 2003 and includes the current catalog through that year.
