The rush and restlessness of our daily lives can be like a fog, an opaque shroud distracting from nature’s enlightening experiences. On ‘Through the Mist’, her debut album, composer Pamela J. Marshall presents several works that find their origins in the composer’s experiences with the natural world. Ms. Marshall earned composition degrees from Eastman and Yale Schools of Music, and has received commissions and recognition from a number of organizations, ensembles and performers. To build support for her music, she founded the Spindrift Commissioning Guild in 2005.
