The 10forBrass ensemble is composed of young musicians from various parts of Germany. Since its 2010 founding the brass ensemble has performed in concerts across Germany and as a guest ensemble at German music festivals. Portrait, the ensemble’s debut CD, was released in 2013. ‘Original’, their second for Genuin classics, features works by Michael Nyman, Steven Verhelst, and three others. In close collaboration with composers and arrangers, 10forBrass seeks out new musical challenges in order to further its own development and expand the brass ensemble literature.
