This release is the only album presently available that is dedicated solely to the birds of Northern Africa. It includes the songs and calls of the fifty-two species which are most representative of North West Africa, classed by family in systematic order. The area covered includes Tunisia, Algeria, and Morocco, as well as the northern part of the Sahara. A fabulous concert, recorded in stereo at the extensive temporary lakes that develop once every ten years or so to the south of Ouarzazate Morocco and used by many thousands of birds is added at the beginning of this release.
