OCTET, RONDINO & QUINTET

Beethoven, while one of the most prolific composers that has ever lived, has not received as much acclaim for his smaller, chamber works. This album contains three of the great composer’s lesser known works: Octet in E-Flat Major, Op. 103, Rondino in E-Flat Major, WoO 25, and Quintet in E-Flat Major, Op. 16. The pieces are performed here by ensemble Il Gardellino, and pianist Arthur Schoonderwoerd.
