Oberon Celebrates Shakespeare

In 2006, three musicians got together to play Mendelssohn. The trio eventually found their name in Oberon, one of the character’s in Shakespeare’s play A Midsummer Night’s Dream. In honor of the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death in 2016, the trio created this program, which includes works by Mendelssohn and Beethoven, as well as a newly commissioned work by Charlotte Bray.
