The series, The Music of Brazil, is part of the project, Brasil em Concerto, developed by the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in order to promote music by Brazilian composers. This limited-edition boxed set has been produced as part of the celebrations of the 200th anniversary of Brazilian Independence in 2022. Composers include Alberto Nepomuceno, Heitor Villa-Lobos, Camargo Guarnieri, Cesar Peixe-Guerra, Claudio Santoro, and José Antônio Rezende de Almeida Prado. (Naxos)
