Music for Piano Solo (Op. 139)

Music for piano solo (2017-2019) by Caspar Rene Hirschfeld (*1965) was premiered by Joshua Rupley in 2023 and deals with transience or the emergence, change and decay of all phenomena. In addition to a virtuoso technique, the work also requires a highly developed sense of sound in the quietest registers and the courage to remain completely calm in the quiet passages.
