Like many composers, the piano played a huge part in Mozart’s career. He performed at many concerts and music academies all over Europe for which he had to build a repertoire, and he was also a teacher and needed educational repertoire for his students. Between 1782 and 1786 he composed fourteen new concertos for piano with orchestra. The present release featuring Matyas Novak features his Concertos Nos. 11, 12, and 13.
