The project for this recording continues the Monteverdi work of the San Felice Ensemble, traced with L’Incoronazione di Poppea, but in a new experimental guise. Federico Bardazzi's musical direction masterfully combines the philological approach with the development of innovative technological solutions capable of enhancing the sublime expressiveness of the Monteverdi masterpiece in an incredibly current key.
