Very little is known about the composer Bernhard_x000D_ Ycart, whose version of the Lamentationes Hieremiæ_x000D_ Prophetæ is premiered on this CD._x000D_ Josquin Desprez (c.1440-1521) and Heinrich Isaac (c.1450-1517) are the great musical names of the period around 1500. All three composers were of Franco-Flemish origin._x000D_ Wilfried Rombach leads the ensemble officium in these 2002 recordings.
