Luzzaschi: Complete Keyboard Music

The Ferrara-born Luzzasco Luzzaschi’s (c. 1545-1607) crucial contributions to music history relate to his open score approach to performance, essentially a sort of motet or madrigal without words that focused on highly refined counterpoint and fugal complexity. Regrettably, these are his sole surviving keyboard works. Matteo Messori is an active harpsichordist, organist and clavichord soloist and conductor in Italy, Europe and America, and also works with various chamber ensembles.
