Le roman de Renart is an amazing story for children as well as for adults. It is one of the oldest texts of French literature, composed of poems written between 1170 and 1250 and then mixed together during the 13th century. All the heroes are animals (the main character is a fox) but in these tales one can recognize every aspect of human behavior. A major "tale" told by one of French's favorite actors: Jean Rochefort (with 11 actors and musical accompaniment).
