Kalinnikov: Orchestral Works

Symphonic works by the long-forgotten Russian composer Vasily Kalinnikov. Russian folk themes color Kalinnikov's entire compositional output. His First Symphony is often performed in concerts in Russia, but he is little known outside of the country - a circumstance that Mihkel Kutson and the Niederrheinsche Sinfoniker are now finally changing.
