This outstanding work was composed by Niccolo Jommelli in 1750, and features violin, viola, cello, oboe, French horn, trumpet, basso continuo, and voice. This work highlights Jommelli’s talent as a dramatic composer. The recording features sopranos Valentina Bilancione and Marialucia Caruso, and tenor Manuel Reid.
