Ja(zz)smine Rice: Violin Mysteries

So far, Viktoria Kaunzner’s career as a violinist has taken her to Asia, to South Korea, her present adopted home. The album, enhanced with recited lyrics features classical repertoire, improvisations and three pieces written by Kaunzner her self and recorded in Germany and South Korea between 2011 and 2015. The additional classical and/or improvisational repertoire includes work by Daniel Schnyder, Krzysztof Meyer, Violeta Dinescu and lastly, Bach’s Chaconne from his Partita No. 2 for violin solo.
