The acclaimed original soundtrack to Wong Kar Wai's masterpiece In the Mood for Love, widely regarded as one of the greatest love stories ever filmed and celebrated with international acclaim including honors at the Cannes Film Festival, makes it's long-awaited LP debut in Japan. Featuring iconic selections such as Shigeru Umebayashi's "Yumeji's Theme" and songs performed by Nat King Cole, the soundtrack perfectly complements the film's restrained romance, stunning visual style, and evocative portrayal of 1960s Hong Kong. Long considered one of the finest film soundtracks ever created, this first LP release in Japan is pressed on 180g heavyweight Clear Red colored vinyl and includes liner notes, lyrics, and Japanese translations.
