Philippe Petit and Eric Dervieu, along with Marc Fosset and under his direction, are gathered in a forceful and cohesive trio. Since the fifteen years he spent next to Stephane Grappelli, since his records with Patrice Caratini then Marcel Azzola, Marc Fosset has been considered as one of the best jazz guitar players, with a swing worthy of both Wes Montgomery and Georges Benson, a work on harmony up to that of a Joe Pass or remembering Tal Farlow. As his records are few, each production of his is warmly expected; what is more, this new trio guitar-Hammondorgan-drums displays a remarquable complicity, spreads to the very roots of groove, and plainly delivers a masterly jazz lesson.
