At the University of Basle in 2010, the stored estate of Evgeny Gunst was surprisingly discovered. +In his time, Evgeny Gunst (1877-1950) was a highly regarded artist. +He associated with important Russian musical personalities, including Alexander Scriabin. +After 1917, he emigrated to Paris, where, although active in the Parisian cultural environment, he died unrecognized and impoverished. +With this CD, the pianist Susanne Lang hopes to rescue him from undeserved oblivion.
