From My Homeland: Czech Impressions

Czech music was largely nonexistent outside of its own country during the first half of the nineteenth century. Genres were limited to choral or piano music. During the second part of the nineteenth century, large scale music began to emerge from composers such as Dvorak, Suk, Janacek, Martinu, and Smetana. Presenting examples from this time period and these composers are violinist Werner von Schnitzler and pianist Cosmin Boeru.
