Eastern Impressions

Eastern European music is rooted in folk traditions, cultural shifts and languages. Each work on Eastern Impressions are either loosely or tightly connected to folk traditions. Each one of these four composers return to the roots of his motherland – in the rhythmic, visceral dance forms and the singing traditions through melodic motives. _x000D_ Now resident in the USA, violinist Kathrin Ten Hagen concertizes internationally and is a fervid interpreter of modern music and lesser known works.
