Donizetti: L'Ange De Nisida Tingaud, Orchestra E Coro Donizetti Opera

Commissioned by the director of the Theatre de la Renaissance in Paris, Gaetano Donizetti’s L’Ange de Nisida was completed in 1840. Unfortunately, however, the theater went bankrupt shortly thereafter, and the production never went to stage. Now, thanks to the painstaking research of musicologist Candida Mantica, this opera is brought to light again.
