Richard Danielpour is one of the most recorded American composers of his generation, with a large number of albums released on Naxos. The stellar soprano Hila Plitmann, a regular collaborator with Danielpour, is the soloist in these song cycles, featuring texts by Rumi, Vivaldi and the composer's father. World premiere recordings.

These three very beautiful and often deeply moving song cycles are sung in three different languages. The songs are sung by American soprano Hila Plitmann, to whom two of the cycles are dedicated. Plitmann sings all the songs very sensitively and expressively with her radiantly pure and bright soprano voice. The accompanying instrumentalists are all first-rate. The booklet contains explanatory texts by the composer as well as all the sung texts.
