Founded by Matthias Jung in 1996, the Saxon Vocal Ensemble is one of the most highly esteemed ensembles in Germany and around the world. Performances of early music set new standards in stylistic assurance, precision of articulation, certainty of intonation, virtuosity and emotional depth. In time Mr. Jung and the ensemble incorporated Romantic music into their repertoire.
