Krzysztof Meyer’s Trio for Clarinet, Cello and Piano was composed as commission for the Sommerliche Musiktage festival in Hitzacker and was premiered on July 31, 1999. The trio can be easily associated with Brahms’ music. Meyer believes that musical narration makes sense and his music always strives for something or generates an expectation.
