Didier and Francis Lockwood have been unavoidable figures on the French jazz scene for thirty years, but the “Brothers” album they recorded for the Ames label in 2008 featured them together for the first time. Francis Lockwood s piano and the violin of his brother Didier function together in perfect alchemy here, the only instruments present on the recording.
