Bertoldo & Borgo: Complete Organ Music

Although J.S. Bach’s name is often most closely associated with the Toccata, the genre actually first appeared in print in 1591 within this collection of works by Sperindio Bertoldo. Unfortunately, the collection was not published until after his death. His works are coupled with the compositions of Cesare Borgo, an equally monumental name in organ history. This important volume is presented by Manuel Tomadin.
