{"product_id":"eine-kleine-fruhlingsreise","title":"EINE KLEINE FRUHLINGSREISE","description":"The Comedian Harmonists were a world-renowned, all-male German close harmony ensemble that performed between 1928 and 1934 as one of the most well-known and successful musical acts in Europe before the Second World War. They had a wide repertoire, ranging from folk and classical songs to witty popular songs of the day. When the Third Reich rose to power, the group began to struggle- three members were Jewish or of Jewish descent, and one member had married a Jewish woman. The Nazi regime eventually prohibited them from performing, and half the group fled Germany. The remaining members in Germany replaced the lost members in a successor group named \"Das Meistersextett,\" as authorities forbade an English name. This release contains digitally restored Electrola recordings from the latter group from the years 1935-1939.","brand":"EBS","offers":[{"title":"CD","offer_id":49605021860120,"sku":"4013106061215","price":20.99,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0687\/4346\/3192\/files\/3781389.jpg?v=1777609711","url":"https:\/\/hbdirect.com\/products\/eine-kleine-fruhlingsreise","provider":"HBDirect","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
